i DID swim in the fountain today! it was sooooooo much fun!

i got up this morning and after slipping into my bright gold-yellow tanktop and some jean shorts, i headed ofer to the student center to check out the battle of the bands..turns out all but two bands canceled on them, so it was more like..the sucky band fought a battle with themselves, then the real band came on and played alright. i didn't stick around to see who actually "won" but rather took some bags of Lays over to the fish pond to see if the fishes were hungry today, which they oddly weren't! i guess we've been feeding them too much this week:) then i quickly convinced julie and michael to go swimming in the chain garden fountain with me, and we got in, fully clothed.(jules was in JEANS!) we splashed around for a while, michael left, jules and i tried to dry a bit, then we dripped back up the dorm stairs and changed into dryer clothing. i then packed up a bunch of stuff from teh dorm planning on taking it to storage, but when i got there, i found the place had closed 15 mintues before i'd arived! so now i've got a car loaded with stuff till i can make it back again:) came back to campus (after waiting in a line of like 10 cars to get gas for $1.19 raher than $1.42) and watched "king george and his duckie"(veggie tales)

i came out of the day with some pretty red shoulders, but knowing me, hey will be all pale again in a few days (it's hardly worth a burn if i don't even tan from it)

this is the end of my day...it was a good day..and i didn't study a thing!
