gosh it's seemed like forever since i last wrote in this thing!
i don't know exactly what to say...i'm sitting here in the music computer lab waiting on it to be time for band...and i decided to come in here and check out some scribbles...pleasently surprised to find my sis had updated hers:)
this year has been going good so far. my oral report in music history was actually an enjoyable project to put together becuase my topic was an interesting person. and i think i got an A on our first test in there, i dont have test in any other clases yet. my main problem right now is that i don't practice for sight singing and ear trianing..therefore i get frustrated every thursday in class..because i screw up so bad every time...and it's so my own lazy fault. i will do better...i HAVE to. i LOVE the peices i've got in voice right now...they are totally chalenging and obscure..as in they don't really fit their accompianament at all..it's wonderful!
"woohoo! four-day-weekend!" to quote lisamariehobson. dena's wedding is saturday...i do pray it doesn't rian or something..maybe we'll be blessed with nice cool weather or something abnormal like that:) what do you get for people as wedding gifts?
so i won't have to come back to school till monday night..which for me is two days longer than my usual weekends:) ...we have handbbell rehearsal LATE monday night..10:00pm till midnight. how funny is that? we're gonna have a practiceing party and learn our notes well and such. i think it's gonna be great:) i'll just have to leave n.o. an hour or two earlier than i would normally..no prob.
as far as my church situations go...currently i don't know where i'm going to be from one sunday to the next wednesday...ect. i visited an Independant Bap. church wed and sunday of last week, and enjoied it throughly..i think i will try a few more around here too. of course, i am a member at main street bap here..i joined there last year when nick was the intern, and have not been back since school got out. i want to be somepalce where i can be useful and at mainstreet i TRIED ot be used and they didn't put my ANYWHERe even when i went from class to class BEGGING to work. anyhow..i'm searching for where ever God wants me...we'll see eh?
i've gotta go now..band time in 15 mintues and i ahve to run across to my dorm, up three flights of stairs and get my flute, run back down and go to the band hall:)
