golly! the banquet was sooo much fun! joulie did my makeup, and i did both of our hair. joulie's hair was fixed into two small braids on each side pinned up with rhinestoned barretts (4 braids total) and the back was curled and left loose. she wore her prom dress from last year, which is an aqua colourd dress with MAJOR poofiness going on! she looked like a princess:)
i did my hair in a braided bun held in place my four silver hair clips with a little less than half my hair hanging loose from the middle of the bun and curled in large ringlets. i wore a classy 3/4-sleeved black shirt with a low-back and my long satin silver skirt... let me just say "SHA!" (translation: sweet!!!)

we arrived at the banquet and everyone admired and "ooo"ed and "ahh"ed at everyone else then we found seats at a table with nick, tony, lisa, kevin, perry, and another lisa (most of our usua meal-gang anyways) the food was averagely good and in larger than nescesarry amounts. following the food, awards were given to people from different areas of the department. i got a certificate for "most improved" in mrs. fortenberry's piano studio (because i finally got over myself and stopped trying to show her how much i dislike her, and instead began trying my best to show her that i relaly can play the piano) and i got a perfect attendance certificate in band...though i know i've missed at *least* once for being sick...anyways

after all the awards had been received they turned down the house lights, turned on the colourd dance lights, pumped up some jams and we all got down with our bad selves on the dancefloor:)....well..not ALL of us..that nick boy just refuses to dance, except for on the two slow songs that he and michael decided to dance together on...that was worrying emily s. a bit i believe:)
joulie and i stuck around till teh party had winded down a bit and people ahd begun to clean up. we ended up leaving the civic center around 11:00 with sore feet and strange urges to walk in huge vats of jello
