The fire burns, the fire glows, till everyone knows!
I've got a fire in my eyes...
Can you see it? Do you know why?
It's because of my Savior, because of my King.
My God is doing a wonderful thing!
Everyday I wake up, toss in a match, feed the fire.
Being closer to Christ is my one soul desire.
I can't help but share my joy.
I won't shut up, I won't be silenced,
I can't sit down for I am standing.
"If you do not stand firm in your faith
you will not stand at all." Isaiah 7:9
God's consuming fire has consumed me.
I must take it to others
so that they may be consumed too.
This fire does not burn in pain, but in purity.
It cleanses, it tears down the bad,
leaving a smooth surface for God to grow His kingdom.
"God's kingdom will never be destroyed." Daniel 2:44
